Revocation of Power of Attorney
A "Revocation of Power of Attorney" is a legal document that formally ends the authority
granted to someone (called an "agent") to act on your behalf through a previously
established Power of Attorney (POA), essentially taking back control over your financial or
healthcare decisions by notifying the agent that their power is terminated; it typically
requires a written statement signed by the principal (the person granting the POA) and may
need to be notarized.
